How it came to be…
Let’s face it, there are only so many hours in a day and good help is hard to find. The evolution of JobsiteOnTime.com dates back to the mid eighties when Rick Westmoreland first started using a desktop personal computer to help schedule his remodeling projects. Over the past twenty years, Rick has experimented with a lot of different scheduling software packages. They pretty much all do a good job of scheduling, but most lack a good way of communicating the information to the people that need it, subs and suppliers. By the time you get the schedule into the computer, print it out, and fax it to everyone the information would be obsolete. Rick can remember spending hours faxing out copies to everybody. As Rick’s experience in the industry grew, he continued to face the same problem over and over. How do I disseminate my information to all relevant parties in real time? In the mid nineties, Rick began using the Internet to funnel information to every one in the field that needed it. That is how JobsiteOnTime.com was developed. As Rick began to use the Internet more and more to pass along information, the more other builders and suppliers wanted to do the same thing. By solving his problem, Rick Westmoreland had actually created the ability for anyone in the industry to solve his or her scheduling problems.
